Rep. Lambert has several bills in the current Legislative Session.

Rep. Lambert's primary pieces of legislation this Session are House Bills 71 and 76, which would create the Fund for Improvement of Transportation Infrastructure.  The Fund for Improvement of Transportation Infrastructure provides that for any year in which the state's budget has a surplus of 4% or more (of total state revenues), 25% of any extra money is to be deposited within the fund by the Treasury.  Furthermore, the monies in the fund shall be appropriated or dedicated solely and exclusively to fund the costs of maintenance and capacity improvements, including additional lanes and intersection improvements, of the roads and bridges of the state and federal highway systems.
